Day Care Safety Repairs

Updated: Mar 13, 2019

This is how we help make child care safe for everyone

Thousands of children attend pirate nurseries, mostly in Tel-Aviv. These are illegal day care and after school care frameworks that are operated by unlicensed caregivers, in order to meet the basic demand for childcare by asylum seekers and migrants who are ineligible for the kind of subsidized day care options like WIZO or NAAMAT that are available to citizens.

Every so often, we organize groups of volunteers to do a beautification of one of these places: paint the walls, child proof, paint murals, and do general repairs. This is a good one-off project to do!
